01The problem
On large rural properties there is no internet signal in the field, and a central monitoring setup is expensive to start. Decisions such as when to irrigate depend on someone going out to check.

02What we did
We built a network where solar sensors relay each other's data, encrypted and long range, to a gateway at the farmhouse. A web panel shows the network as a map, the battery, signal, and last message of each device, and flags links that should exist but went silent. Adding a sensor follows a repeatable procedure.
03What it changes
Growers follow what happens in the field from the farmhouse, with no internet needed out in the crops, and can start small and grow one sensor at a time.
