01The problem
Anyone who needs to know a vehicle depends on data spread across several sources, and offering that lookup to outside customers means controlling who has access, how much they use, and how fast the answer arrives.
How the solution works
-
01
Check API keyCustomers · query via API
-
02
Check limit
-
03
Query data

04
Build history
-
05
Log usageOperations · follows usage
02What we did
We built a web platform that analyzes vehicle data from the VIN, with caching for fast responses, and an access gateway in front of it: authentication, API key lifecycle, usage limits, and monitoring dashboards.
03What changed
Customers look up a vehicle's history with responses under 100 ms, and the operations team follows each key's usage in real time.
